Our Story
From Ft Lauderdale to Pearl Harbor
Our story begins in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, where our founder grew up valuing hard work, community, and loyalty - principles that would shape both our family and our business. At just 20 years old, he joined the United States Navy, committing to service, discipline, and something bigger than himself.
This journey took him halfway across the world to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where fate stepped in. In 1994, while both were stationed there, he met Amy, who grew up in Michigan and was also proudly serving in the Navy. What began as a shared commitment to service quickly became a shared life.
Family First
After two years of service, Amy made the selfless decision to leave the Navy to raise our children, while continuing to embody the values of care and dedication instilled through service. Later, she became a Registered Nurse, a role she has now proudly served in for over 20 years.
After 24 years of Navy service, retirement came in 2015, and we moved to Tampa, where a new chapter began. While working as a government contractor, we dreamed of building a business together - something rooted in our values, love for animals, and desire to serve the community.
We have raised two children, now adults, and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters. Family remains the center of our lives - and it guides the way we run our business.
Our Pets
Pets have always been an important part of our story. At home, we share our lives with our two Shih Tzus, Bella and Meeko, who are daily reminders of how much trust and care pets depend on us for. Before them, we had two beloved Mini Schnauzers who passed away a couple years ago - their memory continues to inspire the love and dedication we bring to every pet we care for.

Safe & Certified Grooming You Can Trust
At Aussie Pet Mobile, we don’t just love pets—we care for them at the highest level. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the American Kennel Club (AKC) to bring top-tier safety and grooming standards to every appointment.
In an unregulated field, it’s our responsibility to make sure your pet’s safety and comfort come first. Groomers at each of our locations must complete AKC S.A.F.E. grooming and safety training, and each location has at least one certified groomer who has passed the Professional Grooming Credential Exam to validate their knowledge and skills in proper grooming techniques for specific breeds and coat types.
This means that you, as a pet parent, can have peace of mind that your pet is getting the best care – every visit, every time.
