Aussie Pet Mobile has been operating in the Greater Orlando area for over 11 years. We could not have done this without you, our client families, and we’d like to thank you for your support and confidence. It is a privilege to be permitted to care for your fur-child.

Our mission is simple: We take care of family members.

Here at Aussie Pet Mobile of Greater Orlando, we strive to ensure that the right groomer is matched to your type of pet. We have groomers that are especially skillful with cats or particular breeds of dogs. We even have groomers that are skilled in treating severely matted pets. In addition, most of our groomers have been with us for over 6 years and we are very proud of this. Employee retention is vital to client retention and satisfaction. Our groomers undergo full background checks every year. All groomers are full employees complete with benefits and performance bonuses.

We routinely bring in additional training resources so our groomers not only continue to improve their grooming skills, they also develop skills in pet behavior and client relationship building. We strive to make sure our groomers have enough travel time between appointments and we do not limit areas to specific days.

Dispatchers are on hand 7 days a week and we return phone messages within an hour or at the beginning of the next day. Voice greetings will always inform you as to when your call will be returned in case we must be away from the phones or it is after hours. Scheduling is done through a cloud-based client management system which is accessed by all associates. Clients have their own record complete with a full history of appointments, specifics of grooms, preferences, past groom times based on the van tracking, preferred days/times and specific pet data. Appointment confirmations are done 2 days in advance by phone and we have an electronic process to manage standby requests. All vans host a tracking system and our dispatchers know where the vans are at any given moment.

Grooming vans are complicated vehicles. There’s a lot of delicate equipment on board and the constant presence of hair and water can cause equipment glitches. At our van facility, we have a full stock of spare parts and equipment.We have our own mechanic who will stay until the wee hours of the night to replace or repair equipment and to perform most general maintenance on the van itself. If any van has an operational issue during the day, we can even move the groomer to a spare van that is always on hand and let him/her continue her day as uninterrupted as possible. We have done everything possible to attempt to eliminate situations where an entire day of appointments has to be cancelled out.

Our business is fully insured for professional liability, property damage and worker injury. This is for both our associates’ and clients’ protection. And while groomers in Florida do not require a special certification, our Aussie does employ an Aussie trainer who is approved to train other groomers. She makes sure groomer skills continue to improve.

And is there a downside to all this? Sort of. It does mean that our vans are often fully booked from 4-12 days out during some months of the year.It also means that we are more expensive than single unit owner operators. But nobody else in Orlando can provide this type of added value to their clients.

The good news on that is there has been considerable investment in this operation in order to raise the level of reliability, continuity and internal communications.

We have done as much as possible to give our groomers all the resources and tools they need to perform at their best.

This is Kitty. Kitty knew from a very young age that she wanted to pursue a career with animals. In 2010 Kitty enrolled in a local grooming school and has been grooming for seven years. Kitty loves the challenge of breed clips and figuring out new and creative ways to groom an animal. Kitty’s favorite breeds to groom are Schnauzers, Yorkies, & Scotti’s.  Kitty has a Scottie named Azura.  Kitty likes to attend grooming seminars to learn and keep up with grooming trends.  Kitty has been with Aussie well over 8 years!

This is Amber. For amber deciding to become a groomer was an uncomplicated decision. Amber has always groomed her own pets but decided to become a professional groomer in 2008 and has been formally grooming with us since 2010. A tip Amber would give to pet owners would be to make sure grooms are booked on a regular basis so their family member can stay clean and healthy.

This is Shannon. Shannon is from New Hampshire. She moved to Florida nine years ago for a new experience and to go to school. Shannon had many different pets growing up such as birds, iguanas and geckos, fish, hamsters, gerbils, bunnies, cats and fostered dogs. Shannon has been grooming since 2014. Her advice to all owners and soon to be owners is how imperative it is to understand and follow through with the needs of your pet. Every pet is different and has different needs; choose the best one to fit your lifestyle.

This is Mary. Mary was born and raised in West Virginia, but decided to move to the Orlando area back in 2007. Mary has two fur children of her own. Orosco, a poodle pomeranian mix rescue and April O’Neil, a calico cat that she found left outside in a cardboard box. Mary has a huge heart for animals- she has always wanted to work with them, hence why she got into grooming. In her spare time, Mary is a Zumba instructor and teaches a class once a week.

This is Mallory. Though she was born in New York, Mallory considers herself a Floridian. She has one pet at home- a chihuahua named Rascal. Mallory previously worked for a local doggy retreat- there is where she discovered her love of grooming. When she is not taking care of our clients’ fur children, you can probably find Mallory doing something geeky, whether that is reading, role playing or playing video games!

This is Jaquelyn. Jaquelyn is from Deltona. However, she decided to move to Orlando for its busy atmosphere. Jaquelyn has two dogs at home, a pit bull named Happy and a border collie mix named Alin. She has always wanted to work with pets, but it wasn’t until a close friend recommended grooming, that she found her calling. Something you might not guess about Jaquelyn is that she is really into Dungeons and Dragons!

Meet Jessica!  Jessica is originally from Tampa, Florida. She graduated from the Academy of Animal Arts of Largo in 2012 and has been grooming ever since! Jessica wanted to combine her artistic skill with her compassion for animals. Not only is she an artist with scissors, but Jessica loves to draw and design! She has two fur children at home, Lulu, a cocker spaniel and Diva, a maltese mix.

Meet Coletta. Coletta is from Oahu, Hawaii and moved to Florida in 1980. She has been involved with dogs throughout her life. She joined the Aussie Team as a dispatcher in May 2010. A tip she would give pet owner’s is to know the needs of your pet for all seasons.

This is Bev. After 20 years of teaching and 25 years in business, my daughter, bless her heart, decided to take me out of retirement. Yay! You will always hear from me 2 days before the grooming appointment to confirm. The best part about this new task, is that I get to meet great people who share their love with their pet. I am proud to represent a company that takes pride in their work, and know how to take care of your beloved pet.

Samantha is a warm and bubbly person that has an extensive background in sales and customer service spanning over 10 years. Aside from devoting time to the beautiful Aussie family, she has 2 little boys and a husky named Wolverine that require a lot of attention and a lot of hugs and kisses! Being born and raised right here in Orlando, Florida has helped shape a love of theme park thrills and sand between her toes. Her happy personality certainly adds to her love of helping people and she is thankful to be apart of such an amazing team.
