Gingerbread Holiday Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter (ensure it does not contain xylitol)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ cup water (add more if needed)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until a dough is formed. Using your hands, mold the dough into a ball.
  2. Place the ball on wax paper and roll dough into about ½ inch thick.
  3. Use cookie cutters of your choice to cut out the treats.
  4. Place on a greased pan and bake for about 20 minutes and flip. Then bake for another 20-25 minutes.
  5. Allow treats to cool. Use slightly heated peanut butter as icing if desired.
